Jeanie Kerr

“It was shoulder to shoulder on the Vennel on a Saturday”

Jeanie Kerr, 96 years old, sat down and told us her story from as early as she can remember. Jeanie worked from a young age and grafted in the rural Dumfries and Galloway. She worked as part of the Land Army during the war and always tried to find a way to keep busy. Jeanie travelled the world, but returned to Dumfries because she knew her heart was in Scotland.
